Founded by Bart Kyzar and Mark Falvai in 2009, Mission Workshop has always been focused on the quality of the product.

The boutique label run out of a San Fransisco warehouse reimagines and redesigns tactical apparel and bags for the everyday consumers using premium materials.

The first product the brand launched was an expanding pack called the Vandal. Many updates and revisions later and it remains one of the brands most popular packs.

Bags remain a huge part of the brand’s focus. Mark Falvai designs each new bag himself, hand cutting the patterns and sewing every prototype before passing them along to Mission's small U.S. factory for production runs.

Mission Workshop is so confident in the durability and performance of its bags, they guarantee them forever.

Let's take a look at some of the brand's impressive range of military inspired apparel and gear.

Best Seller: The Vandal

Head of the design team, Jeff Roberts was co-founder and CEO of a manufacturer of advanced combat apparel for the world’s most elite teams, including the CIA, Navy SEALs, fighter pilots, snipers, SWAT, FBI, NASA and classified units that “officially" don't exist.

The Mission Workshop Range consists of backpacks, messenger bags, duffel bags and camera packs to suit any urban EDC or off the beaten path application.

The design team is bringing that tactical knowhow to its range of packs, many of which are best in class. A key feature of many of its packs is the ability to expand in size for extra cargo carrying capacity.

Many Mission Workshop packs are also modular so you can design your own to suit your exact tactical requirements.

The Arkiv® Modular System allows for the secure and simple attachment of weatherproof accessories to the exterior of the backpack.

Final Thoughts

Apparel is the brand’s other primary focus. Mission Workshop uses only premium materials in its range of outwear, rainwear, jackets, hoodies, sweatshirts, tees, pants socks, headwear and gloves.

Don’t expect too many primary colors. This brand tends to focus on blacks, military-inspired shades, and urban camo prints. We are fine with that.
